At Tan's Toys, we know you want your new toys to arrive quickly and safely. We partner with reliable couriers (including Australia Post) to ensure your order gets to you as soon as possible.


1. Order Processing Time

  • Dispatch: We aim to process and dispatch all orders within 1–2 business days of receiving them.

  • Peak Periods: During busy periods (like Christmas or major sales), dispatch may take up to 3 business days.

  • Modifications: If you need to change your address or order details, please contact us immediately. Once an order has been packed or dispatched, we cannot make changes.


2. Shipping Rates (Australia)

We ship Australia-wide! Our rates are simple and transparent:

  • Standard Shipping: $9.99 (Flat Rate)

  • Express Shipping: $14.99 (Flat Rate)

  • Free Shipping: Orders over $250 qualify for FREE Express Shipping.

International order rates are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address. Average flat-rate shipping starts at $40.


3. Estimated Delivery Times

Once your order leaves our warehouse, the estimated delivery times are:

  • Metro Areas (East Coast): 2–5 business days.

  • Regional Areas & WA/NT: 5–10 business days.

  • Express Post: Generally 1–3 business days (depending on the Australia Post Express network).

  • Rest of World: 7-20 business days

Please note: These are estimates provided by our carrier. Tan's Toys is not responsible for shipping delays caused by weather, strikes, or peak carrier volumes.


4. Tracking Your Order

  • Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email containing your Tracking Number.

  • Please allow up to 24 hours for the tracking link to update with the courier's first scan.


5. Authority to Leave (ATL) & Lost Packages

To ensure your delivery is smooth, please read the following carefully regarding the safety of your package:

  • Secure Delivery: We recommend providing an address where someone will be available to receive the parcel (such as a workplace).

  • Authority to Leave: If you select "Authority to Leave" (or if the courier deems it safe to leave the parcel), Tan's Toys is not responsible for the package once it has been marked as 'Delivered' by the courier.

    • This means if a parcel is stolen after being safely delivered to your property, we cannot offer a refund or replacement.

  • Lost in Transit: If your package is lost during transit (before it is marked as delivered), please contact us. We will launch an investigation with the courier. If the courier confirms the item is lost, we will offer a replacement or full refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.


6. PO Boxes & Parcel Lockers

Yes, we ship to PO Boxes and Australia Post Parcel Lockers! Please ensure you write the address exactly as it appears on your rental agreement.


7. Damaged During Transit

If your item arrives damaged, please refer to our [Returns & Refunds Policy] for instructions on how to claim a replacement. You must notify us within 3 business days of delivery.
